England stared with the score 119/3 on the day 3. Jonny Bairstow and Captain Joe Root batted really attacking. They scored 100 plus partnership. Jonny Bairstow departed when Siraj bowl a bouncer.He made a 53. Captain Joe Root was playing with some special elegance.First he reached to his 50 early in the morning and gradually nearing to his 2nd century in the series. Soon completed his 100 and then 150. First Josh Buttler and then Moeen Ali stood in the crease with the English captain. Jos Buttler bowled by Ishant Sharma with an individual scored of 23 and Moeen Ali scored 27 and caught by Virat Kohli in Ishant bowling. In the very next ball again Ishant strike and send Sam Curran to the dressing room with a duck.
England were now 341/7. Root was trying to bat as long as possible but wickets were falling in the other side. In the last ball of the day 3 Shami bowled James Anderson the last wicket for England and day 3 ended. Root was unbeaten for 180. England all-out for 391, 27 runs ahead of India. No indian bowler could create any trouble for Joe Root. He scored a big 180 without much support of any other batsman. Siraj picked up 4, Ishant 3 and Shami got 2 wickets.
England are leading 27 runs and both the team have 2nd innings left and 2 day left for the 2nd test also. The 2nd innings of team India will decide where the result of the match is going.
India will start their innings today i.e. 15 August on the independence day, independence from the Britishers. India will definitely try to bat all day long and put effort to score 300 or more. And on the last day England have to chase the total if India successed in their plan.
