India vs England 2nd test match,India won by 151 runs
The 2nd test match between India and England finished in an epic manner, result favour India.
India was 181/6 at the end of day 4 and taking a lead of 154 runs.India started the play on day 5 with this score.Rishabh Pant and Ishant Sharma were in the crease.Rishabh Pant was the only batsman who could reach India to a score by which match can be win or can be drawn.Rishabh Pant disappointed everyone and got out by Ollie Robinson on 22 runs.India was now on a big trouble.Ishant Sharma and Mohammad Shami were on the crease.Ishant Sharma was trying to bat as long as possible but got LBW by cleaver Ollie Robinson in a slower deliver after adding 16 runs on the scoreboard.India was now 209/8 and everyone thinking with this score India could not save the match.
Then the real show began.Mohammad Shami and Jasprit Bumrah made a 89* partnership and make everyone amazed.The were playing confidently, leaving the when required, hitting boundaries, scoring runs.Shami scored not out 56 runs only with 70 balls with 6 fours and 1 six.
Bumrah was also matching the step with Shami and scored 34 runs with 3 fours.England bowlers were tried to get them out but the played very attractively.
India declared just 2 overs after the lunch when the score was 298/8 and England have to chase 272 runs to win the match with 60 overs to play.It was very difficult to win the match for both sides.A drawn match was in everyone's mind.
Bumrah strike from the first over and took the wicket of Rory Burns in 4 ball of the first over and send him to pavilion with a duck.Other English opener Dom Sibley also scored a duck and departed the crease in the very next over, caught by Rishabh Pant on Shami's bowling.
Haseeb Hamid and captain Joe Root batted 1 hour or 1 and an half.Ishant Sharma came to bowl his first over and send Hamid to the pavilion.England was now 44/3 in the 16th over.But inform captain Joe Root was bating agressivly as usual.Johny Bairstow got out by Ishant Sharma in the 22nd over. Just after the tea Joe Root got out by Bumrah on slip making 33 of 60 balls.
Root's wicket was the most valuable wick for Indian bowlers and Indian side.
After Root's wicket India step towards the win.Buttler and Moeen Ali were on the crease now and they tried to play till the end of the day so the match could drawn and England will save them from losing. First Moeen Ali got out by Mohammad Siraj scoring 13 from 42 balls and in the very next ball of the Siraj's over Sam Curran caught behind the wicket by Pant.In 51 over Ollie Robinson got LBW by Bumrah and in the next over Josh Buttler caught behind the wicket on Siraj bowling.England was now 129/9 .And Mohammad Siraj bowled Anderson in the same over and India won the match with 151 runs and 8 overs left of the day.
An absolute outstanding performance by Indian seemers.Bumrah got 3 wickets, Siraj got 4, Ishant got 2 and Shami got 1 wicket.
Getting all-out England side at Lord's with in the two sessions and with in a limited 60 over is really a masterclass performance.Take a bow to Shami and Jasprit Bumrah.KL Rahul got man of the match award for his 129 in first innings.
