The human beings are surrounded with so many sports and game. In the game of cricket is one of the most popular game in the world. More specifically it is the second most liked game after football around the globe and it is growing rapidly. Every day passing cricket reaching new hearts and adding numerous fan day by day. From here the future of cricket looks very much brighter.
Cricket was first played in south-east England in the 17th century. It was definitely far different from the modern day cricket. In the earlier time the player were using a hockey stick type of bat and were bowling underarm. Which means the ball was reaching the batsman groundedly. Cricket has so much potential that it was first played in the villages of England and very soon it became very popular in all over the England. 

During this time the English colonization was on its peak. With the English merchant it spread in the Indian subcontinent and other parts of the world. In the present time it is immensely popular in Indian subcontinent, Australia, South Africa, West Indies and so on. 

The future of cricket

The future of any sport depend on how many people showing interest in the game. In the current time cricket is being played over 100 nations and it is a very good news for cricket itself. A decade ago, cricket was limited only in 10 to 15 countries but now over hundred countries playing T20 cricket.
Cricket has not been a culture in Europe but now the European people also showing their interest in the game. For example in Germany cricket is the fastest growing sport. There are over 10,000 players playing Cricket in Germany.

In earlier days only test cricket was being played which takes upto 4-5 days to complete and this was a reason people were not liking the game we love now. Then the 50 overs one day game attract so many people. Cricket got a big boost by viewers as well as players after this. After the arrival of T20 cricket, a cricket game last for around 4 hours so it get immense popularity. 

The technology that is being used in cricket matches also a centre of attraction. The arrival of new technologies gave shape to the cricket matches,correct the errors and misjudgement and help improved game performance.
Currently cricket is followed by 2.5 billion people in the world and as we know it is the second most popular sport after football/soccer which is followed by 4 billion people. The difference between football and cricket popularity is also depends upon its expense. In football you need not need any expensive equipment just only a football and a field. In contrary in cricket there are some significant equipment needed.

We should take some primitive step regarding the future of cricket, such as corruption in cricket board and matches, match fixing etc. If there is any case of corruption in cricket, the nation and the board could not rise above. Another thing should be done to avoid the distraction from the young cricketers.
