The first test match between India and England has ended with a draw. India had a very good chance to win the match but the rain vanished their dream. Although India could not win the game but there are some positives that India try to continue in the second test. All these four players try to continue their performance in the second test from 12 August.

1. KL Rahul

    Kannur Lokesh Rahul popularly known as KL Rahul played the first test after 2 years. In the first innings Rahul along with Rohit gave a solid start to team India. When Rohit depart Rahul continues to play. Wickets were falling in the other side but Rahul was standing in the crease. In  lower order he made another good partnership with sir Jadeja. Rahul med patienceful 84.

2. Jasprit Bumrah

    Indian pace bowling attack is probably best in the world in recent time. And Jasprit Bumrah is leading this pace battery. In the first innings bumrah took 4 wickets and in the second innings he got his 6th 5 wickets haul. Bumrah sent dangerous Joe Root in the second innings.

Bumrah was wicket less in the WTC final. He faced several criticise also. Now he answered with his brilliant performance with nine wicket from the first test match. Bumrah has played 21 matches,from its 41 innings he has picked up 92 wickets with an average of 22.14 and with an economy of 2.7 .

3. Ravindra Jadeja

    There is no doubt that Ravindra Jadeja is a multi-dimensional player. There were some question arose when he was in the playing 11 ahead of Ashwin. But with his aggressive half century in the first innings in a crucial time made everyone silent. Jadeja has emerged as one of the best all rounder in last 2-3 years. In red ball cricket as a batsman he has made 2041 runs from 76 innings with an average of 35.81.He has also one 100 and 16 50s.

As a bowler from 101 Innings he has picked up 221 wickets with an average of 24.64 and 2.45 economy rate.

He also entered in the list of quickest Indian cricketer to pick of 200 wickets and scored 2000 runs.

4. Shardul Thakur

    He is also one of the great positive for India from 1st test. He picked up 4 wickets in the match,2 in each innings. Although he did not score but he has a very good potential to bat. He has also a half century against Australia in Australia in tough condition. He has only played 3 matches from its 5 innings he has taken 11 wickets with an average of 22 and 3.22 economy rate.
