Yes you heard right,MS Dhoni is selected for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2021. It has been more than a year when MS Dhoni take retirement from international cricket. Still the captain cool is in the world cup staff.
On 8 September BCCI announced a 15 memeber Indian team for the T20 World Cup. But MS Dhoni will join the team as a Mentor in T20 mega event.
Ms Dhoni has taken his retirement from international cricket on 15 August 2020 by his Instagram post. Now its more than a year when Dhoni is not in connection with international cricket. BCCI took a praiseful decision to include experienced MS Dhoni as mentor in the team.
MS Dhoni is the most successful Indian captain and one of the best in the world. India won the first ever T20 world cup in 2007 under MS Dhoni's captaincy along with that 2011 Odi world cup and 2013 champion trophy says all about him. He is the only captain to win all ICC trophies.
Dhoni would have played the T20 World Cup if it had not stopped in 2020. Now team India and Indian fans are very excited to see MS Dhoni as mentor.
